In a previous post, we talked about the importance of feedback for getting a good design. Reiterate: it’s crucial. If telepathy existed, there would be no need to talk. But it’s doesn’t, so dear clients, you have to talk, talk, and talk some more. How else will the designer ‘get’ what you want?
It’s no coincidence that clients who take the trouble to give regular feedback are the ones who score the most number of submissions. There is a proven correlation between the level of client activity and the number of submissions per project.
We looked at the numbers, and we put the numbers in a graph. As it shows, projects with more comments in the private feedback section receive more submissions.
The one outlier is the project for CrowdStudio’s logo - we obviously were the most active project holder ever, and received a whopping 215 submissions for the project.
If you don’t offer regular feedback, how can the designer create something that fits your need? Talk more and you will greatly increase your chances of finding that perfect design for your business.
